Get excited Netflix fans. While we won't see The Umbrella Academy Season 2 until the end of next month, the show's official Twitter account has shared the first official images from Season 2. Whoever your favorite sibling pops up here, even the dead one Klaus talks to all the time, so there's something for everyone here. Does it beat having an actual trailer? No, but we'll take what we can get.
The images do a good job since they raise our expectations while not spoiling anything about the show and its story. We would rather have a trailer but this is pretty solid and the images chosen are pretty lively so that should get people talking. The Umbrella Academy was pretty popular after all and we're intrigued to see what the second season has planned, especially since it doesn't completely follow the comic book anymore.
It really is amazing how the show has managed to take some of the sillier elements from comic books and make it an exciting series for pretty much everyone. We're sure the second season will have all of that and more so here's hoping that they don't shit the bed and the quality gets really bad. Then again, with the original comic book creators helping out, we doubt that's going to happen.
Fans will be able to watch The Umbrella Academy Season 2 on July 31.
