Fantastic Four: John Krasinksi Wants To Be The MCU's Mr. Fantastic

Now that Marvel is bringing back the Fantastic Four to comic books, fans are wondering when we'll see them in the MCU. Disney bought Fox last year but the deal will be finalized sometime this year, so it will take awhile before we see Marvel's first family on the big screen.

If Marvel does plan on casting though, one actor has put his name out as a possible Reed Richards: John Krasinski.

When asked by Screen Rant if he and real-life wife Emily Blunt are interested in playing as Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) and Invisible Woman (Sue Storm). It turns out that the former Office actor is interested in the role, pointing out how he's a big fan of the current superhero trend.

"Oh yeah, the Fantastic Four. I would love that! I mean listen, I'm still getting into the whole superhero thing. I didn't read comics as a kid, not as many, I read some but not as much, but I'm a huge superhero fan so yeah, I'd love to do something like that. If they're are any left, a lot of these have been taken but the ones that are left, yeah, I would love to do something like that. And listen, I'd love to work with her again so any chance I got would be great."

Krasinski would be a solid Reed Richards and it would be fun to see Emily Blunt as Sue Storm, now that she isn't Captain Marvel. Having a real-life couple play as the two lovers would be really cute as well, which a lot of fans will appreciate.

No Fantastic Four movie is currently planned. A new Fantastic Four comic from Dan Slott and Sara Pichelli is coming out in August.
