Every Harry Potter Movie Will be Available During the Magical Launch of HBO Max

Despite Fantastic Beasts and the Crimes of Grindelwald being absolute garbage, Harry Potter is still an incredibly popular franchise that a lot of people love. The first seven books still resonate with a lot of fans, while the movies are also really well-liked by most readers and moviegoers. If you're a fan of J.K. Rowling's work then you'll be happy to know that all eight Harry Potter films are coming to HBO Max at launch.

Much like how Disney+ was able to get every major Star Wars film in time for the launch of that streaming service, Warner Bros. knows how important Harry Potter is to fans so this is a very wise decision. Along with the Snyder Cut coming out next year, this should ensure a few more subscriptions from hardcore fans of The Boy Who Lived.

With all of the Harry Potter movies coming to HBO Max, it probably won't be much of a stretch to see the Fantastic Beasts films come to the streaming service as well. Now that Johnny Depp is, seemingly, controversy-free, there should be no problem moving on to a third film. I doubt that it will be an HBO Max exclusive, though the poor reception of Fantastic Beasts and the Crimes of Grindelwald could change things.
