Cyberpunk 2077 Comic Book Coming Out Before the Game's Launch

Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed to November and though many of us were disappointed, we'd rather they release a great game late than a bad one early. While we can't wait to see how CD Projekt Red is going to outdo their work on The Witcher 3, it looks like fans are getting some android action soon since a new Cyberpunk 2077 comic book was announced and it will come out before the game.

According to Dark Horse, Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team #1 will be coming out on September 9. The series will be written by veteran comic book writer Cullen Bunn, who has worked on titles like X-Men: Blue and Magneto, and drawn by Miguel Valderrama. It looks like this comic book will be detailing how rough the life of this setting is going to be, which is always interesting to see. Check out the synopsis below.

Nadia, an assistant EMT for a privately-owned business known as Trauma Team International, is the sole survivor of a failed rescue mission turned shootout. After she agrees to continue work for an upcoming extraction mission, Nadia and her new team find themselves in an even more dangerous and life-threatening situation.

It will be intriguing to see how this comic puts a spotlight on some events that games will likely not see in action since they're going to be busy shooting dudes and taking android drugs. The comic book should add some worldbuilding to this setting, which is fine since we're always up for more lore.
