Cyberpunk 2077 Beta Emails Confirmed Fake by CD Projekt Red

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games coming out this year and also happens to get delayed just before we think things are fine. Still, that doesn't stop the fact that people really want to play this game because it looks so good, seems fun, and has so many options for the player. Well, some fans seemingly got an invitation for a Cyberpunk 2077 beta that had many jumping for joy, at least until CD Projekt Red confirmed that it was fake.

On Twitter, the gaming company confirmed that they did not send anyone emails about a new beta for this game and are saddened that so many fans have received it. They made their official email clear so it's good to know they are aware of what happened and are informing people of this scam.

Admittedly, it does kind of suck that we won't get the chance to play this game until later in November but we're sure the wait will be worth it. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was delayed a number of times but proved to be a fantastic Western RPG that many fans still play to this day, partially due to the new Netflix series.

While there doesn't appear to be a Cyberpunk 2077 beta, we're sure one will be made for the game's multiplayer mode. The company did state that one is being worked on and will come out sometime after the main game. Let's just hope that it's fun.

Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia this November. A free next-gen upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X was also announced for those that own the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
