Breaking Bad Actor Giancarlo Espacito Confirmed as Far Cry 6 Villain, Thanks to Leaks

Whelp, Ubisoft just can't stop their games getting leaked huh? Assassin's Creed: Valhalla has leaked ahead of time, though many assumed it was going to be called Ragnarok, and now we can confirm that Far Cry 6 will be coming early next year with a free next-gen upgrade for those that get it on current-gen consoles. As if that wasn't intriguing enough, Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Espacito will be the main villain for the game.

This is great news and one that many fans have been speculating about since Espacito said he was working on a big game not too long ago. Far Cry was the game many immediately started thinking about, due to how these games need big villains to get people interested, and many are probably happy that their speculations ended up being true.

If you've seen Breaking Bad then you know that Espacito is perfect to be a villain for this game franchise. These games tend to live or die based on their charismatic villains as 3, 4, and 5 have seen great success because of them. Funnily enough, Vaas, the villain of Far Cry 3, was played by Better Call Saul actor Michael Mando, who also appeared in Sony and Marvel Studios' Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Far Cry 6 will be coming out on February 18, if the leak is anything to go by. The game will be coming out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC with a free next-gen upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X, which is always appreciated. Here's hoping the game is just as fun as its predecessors.
