Black Panther's Michael B. Jordan Pens Tribute to Chadwick Boseman

Chadwick Boseman's death continues to send ripples down the industry, with many of us sad over never seeing him as Black Panther and other characters again. Obviously, those who have acted alongside him are more devastated than us since they got to know him as a person and were able to see just how passionate he was about the business. Michael B. Jordan, who you might know as Killmonger in Black Panther, penned a lovely tribute to his fallen friend on Instagram.

Jordan's full statement uses the phrase "I wish we had more time" a lot, which basically captures how he feels about the passing of Boseman. We all wish to have more time with those that we lost so this hits pretty hard for all anyone, really. Add this pandemic that is taking people away from us constantly and you can see why this death just hurts so much.

Some fans have suggested that Killmonger should somehow come back to the MCU and take T'Challa's place as Black Panther, which would be one way to bring back Michael B. Jordan to the franchise. That's a bit far fetched though since these two characters had such different ideologies so most of us are expecting Shuri to take her older brother's place.

There have been many tributes for Boseman, a lot of which come from his Marvel co-stars. Jordan joins Robert Downey Jr, Brie Larson, director Ryan Coogler, and others as people who have expressed their sorrow over this loss. It shows just how much of a stand-up person that Chadwick Boseman was and he will be missed.

Fans can check out Boseman as T'Challa in Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. His last movie, Da 5 Bloods, is now showing on Netflix.
