Bandai Namco Teases New Dragon Ball RPG and First FighterZ Season 2 Character

It looks like everyone's favorite/least-favorite Universe 11 warrior is coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ. As if that wasn't enough to excite you, Bandai Namco has also confirmed that the next Dragon Ball game is going to be an Action RPG, which is a genre that the series has only tackled rarely. Seems like it's a good day to like Dragon Ball and those that still have their copies of FighterZ or want something new are getting them.

The moment Bandai Namco mentioned Universe 11, pretty much everyone assumed that we would be getting Jiren. He might have been as interesting as a wall but he was part of some really cool fight scenes, including the amazing finale to Dragon Ball Super where he took on Goku, Frieza, and Android 17. Jiren displayed a number of cool moves in the anime and manga, so seeing him integrated into FighterZ should be great.

As for the Action RPG, all we know is that this game is currently called Dragon Ball Project Z: Action RPG. There will probably be a big reveal during the finals of Bandai Namco's FighterZ tournament but nothing till then, though a screenshot would be nice.

Finger's crossed that it's a reboot of Legacy of Goku that details the entire story of Z with multiple characters, though that might be too much for one game. Then again, The Witcher 3 is in one disc.

More information will be shared at the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals that takes place January 26-27, 2019. The game is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
