New Poster Released for Incredibles II; Michael Giacchino Starts Scoring the Music

One of the most anticipated movies for the year is The Incredibles II, and with the release window in June, Disney has started slowly marketing the movie. We now have a new poster for the film, and Michael Giacchino has just announced that he's starting work on the music.

Check out the poster:

It's funny because it harkens back to Edna Mode's line from the first film: "… and machine washable darling, that's a new feature." No doubt we'll be getting a poster which features more of the actual characters in the film, but I really like these teaser posters for their subtlety.

As for Michal Giacchino's announcement:

Giacchino has been doing some great work recently. He's scored both Doctor Strange and Spider-Man: Homecoming for Marvel Studios, Rogue One for Lucasfilm, and most recently, Coco for Disney Pixar. I have no doubt he's going to do an amazing job with Incredibles II. Then again, Giacchino also scored the original Incredibles.

Here's the movie synopsis:

Elastigirl springs into action to save the day, while Mr. Incredible faces his greatest challenge yet -- taking care of the problems of his three children.

The Incredibles II comes out June 14.
