My Hero Academia 3 is not letting the franchise down on its attempt to be the biggest entry for the franchise as the film goes beyond box office expectations making it one of the largest ever among the three movies released, and what makes it even more exciting is that is haven't reached North America yet, not even having a release date for World Heroes Mission, in fact, and yet, it's already gaining some serious profits.

The shonen franchise already had two successful films but their third release surely shakes the game up as it goes beyond two hundred percent in profits as compared to the second film, Heroes Rising. As reported by Oricon News in Japan, My Hero Academia 3: World Heroes Mission bagged around $9 million USD or 940 million yen on its opening weekend.

The film was released in Japan last August 6th which means there is more to come for the box office hit. It has yet to reach North America and when it does, the numbers will only continue to grow. With this trend going on, My Hero Academia 3: World Heroes Mission is sure to get the top spot in the box office in the history of the franchise, possibly even breaking the record in the country.

My Hero Academia 3: World Heroes Mission focuses on the students of UA Academy to a whole new level as they team up with various professional heroes around the globe to take down a new threat: a cult named Humarize. Izuku "Deku" Midoriya, Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki's trio lead the pack as they face a much larger villain this time.

The previous films focused on All For One and the League of Villains and having a new threat that has a worldwide reach makes the film even fitter for a global viewership.

The fifth season ofMy Hero Academia is currently airing and while it has been delayed for a while due to the Tokyo Summer Olympics, it's back on track just as it is closing in on the Endeavor Agency Arc.
