The upcoming DCEU film The Flash will not just feature the return of Michael Keaton's Batman, but it will also introduce Sasha Calle's Supergirl. There are no details yet about her specific involvement in the plot. However, it looks like they have more plans for her beyond the film.
According to The Hashtag Show, HBO Max is working on a series centering on Calle's Girl of Steel. The project is still in development. The plot is said to revolve around the character's backstory including how she got her powers and how she ended up being in the situation when she gets introduced in The Flash. Calle is reportedly going to reprise her role. Keaton's Batman might make an appearance since the two characters will reportedly have a connection in the film. The report also indicated that Superman won't be making an appearance, but there's a possibility that other Kryptonian characters will show up.
The project was supposed to be an HBO Max film at first, but they decided to turn it into a series when the writers realized that the story needed a longer format. However, Warner Bros. or DC haven't made an official announcement regarding the project yet nor the major trades have reported about the news so you have to take this with a grain of salt.
If the report is true, that means Warner Bros. and DC have major plans regarding Calle's Supergirl and they are confident that the audience will receive the character well. There have been reports for the past several months that HBO Max is working on numerous spinoff series and films surrounding various DC characters so it is not surprising that they are considering a spinoff series centering on the Girl of Steel.

It might take a long time before we get to see the project come to fruition if it is actually in the works. After all, there is a Supergirl TV series on The CW that is airing right now and set to end its run soon. It might take a few years for them to put another Supergirl series on the air to avoid such confusion to the general public. They are also going to wait for The Flash to be shown in cinemas before they get this project on the run.
The Flash is set to be shown in theaters on November 4, 2022.
