Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite DLC Leak Has X-Men and Fantastic Four Characters

Fans disappointed at the lack of X-Men characters in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite might be happy to hear about the most recent leak from a semi-reliable source. According to this Reddit post, it looks like Capcom will be adding characters from the X-Men and Fantastic Four as DLC in the future. In fact, some of them will supposedly be free, which is a bit hard to believe. Gamers will still have to take this with a grain of salt, but since the poster did correctly reveal the third DLC pack of Injustice 2, there is some credibility there.

The leak stated that the next DLC characters for the game would be Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Asura, Gill, Lady, and one more unconfirmed character. Apparently, Capcom is still indecisive on the final character, though it could be Apollo Justice, Rashid, or Regina. If any of this ends up being true, the DLC could be great, especially for the fresh characters like Ms. Marvel and Asura.

What will really get fans talking is the supposed free update coming that will add six new characters to Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite with no extra charge. Even the person who posted this info thinks it won't happen since it's too good to be true, but this was the information given to him. This supposed free update will add the following characters to the game for free: Daredevil, Deadpool, Wolverine, Akuma, Gene, and Virgil.

As if that wasn't enough, the person claims that Capcom has already planned a number of seasons and the DLC characters planned. Here's what the post said:

Here's where things get really interesting. All the characters that I've heard that are in development (to various extents and from multiple sources, but not all saying the same things I might add, which is something strange in and of itself) include: Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Green Goblin, Wolverine, Cyclops, Psylocke, Magneto, Storm, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Daredevil, Asura, Lady, Gill, Rashid, Captain Commando, Nina, Deis, Regina, Gene, Vergil, Akuma, and Apollo Justice.

If any of this is true, it would make Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite a much better game. Fans can get it now, but if these are true, fans may want to wait a bit for the DLC.
