The latest episode of Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles was released recently, and we finally find out more about Rio's mysterious power. More things are slowly unfolding as the story progresses in the third episode of Spirit Chronicles.
Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles is a fantasy light novel series by Yuri Kitayama and Riv. This Summer 2021, an anime adaptation from TMS Entertainment began airing. It follows the story of an orphan named Rio, whose memories of a dead man from Japan named Haruto Amakawa live inside him.
As these two are linked together, Rio seems to possess a special power that's entirely different from the magic at the Kingdom of Beltram.

Rio's student life continues, but it still isn't the best experience—he still suffers from being bullied by his peers, who greatly look down upon him as a commoner who can't use their magic. In this episode, he is especially bullied by his classmate Stewart, who keeps mentioning false accusations against Rio.
The students go on an outdoor practice battle session, but things go wrong. As Rio and his group are attacked by creatures, Stewart bumps into Flora and she falls off a cliff. Rio uses his mysterious power to push her back up while he gets separated from them. Stronger creatures arrive and everyone retreats.
Christina loses sight of Flora, who stayed behind to heal an injured classmate. A giant beast shows up and Rio rushes to save them. In their battle, we witness more of Rio's unknown power.
As the students discuss what happened to Flora, Stewart decides to place the blame on Rio. Rio initially aimed to stay until graduation—though that's clearly not going to happen anymore. Now he is set on journeying towards the Yagumo region, where his parents are from. Before leaving, he exchanges goodbyes with his professor and only friend, Celia.

Episode 4 will air in Japan on Tuesday, July 27 at 12:30 AM Japan Standard Time (JST). The past episodes previously aired at 2 AM JST. Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series during Mondays, 11:30 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). For other locations, that would be at these times:
Central Time: 1:30 PM CT
Eastern Time: 2:30 PM ET
British Time: 7:30 PM BST
