Spirit Chronicles is about two people from different worlds whose memories and personalities become intertwined. Haruto Amakawa is a young man from Japan who died in a traffic accident before even getting the chance to reunite with his childhood friend.
In the magical fantasy world of Bertram, there is an orphan boy named Rio. He wants revenge for his mom who was murdered when he was little. As a reincarnation of Haruto, Rio has his memories and knows about him, which greatly confuses Rio. In addition, Rio seems to have special magical abilities linked to Haruto that have yet to be explored.
