Zack Snyder's Justice League 2 would be a delight to the fans of DC, especially those who called for the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut and those who continued to support Zack Snyder in the rollercoaster ride of his version of the film, Justice League.

For years, there had been a heeding call for the Snyder Cut where the fans called out for the original version of the film following the theatrical release of Joss Whedon's Justice League in 2017. It was revealed that Zack Snyder left midway through the production of the 2017 Justice League because of his creative difference with Warner Bros. This made the studio change the director to Joss Whedon.

As the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League was announced, the film has now been given the chance to see the light of day, just as the fans called for it. Zack Snyder's Justice League gave Snyder the chance to finally showcase his ultimate plan for the film from the way it is filmed to how it is rendered, even to the aspect ratio of 4:3, just as he intended it to be for IMAX screens to be filled.

It was first intended to be a mini-series release on HBO Max. However, the film would be facing legal repercussions which is why it pushed through as a whopping four-hour film. Despite the film not being canon to the DCEU as personally acknowledged by Zack Snyder himself, canon or not, the clamor of the fans was still given their due as not many films experience this kind of support and demand.

The version of Zack Snyder is a totally different film than that of Joss Whedon's. The film has various notable differences that it could be revealed that only 10% to 15% of Snyder's version made it to the 2017 theatrical release of the film.

Calling Zack Snyder's Justice League would be an understatement, to say the least. With the film traversing a long and hard way to get to where it is right now, the victory of Zack Snyder's Justice League proves more than being shown to the public. It makes it possible for films to be in the perspective of the director itself without much intervention from others as it is not everyday that films get this much of a chance.

After shaking the world, there have been various questions following the release of the film including the question of will there be a sequel to it. For a number of years, even before the film fell behind the shadows of the 2017 theatrical release of the film, Snyder and his team has had plans for Justice League including a sequel.

Will there be Zack Snyder's Justice League 2?

Even when creative plans are already existing for the sequel of Zack Snyder's Justice League, there is a chance that it will happen and there is also that chance that it won't. Here are the reasons why.

Why Zack Snyder's Justice League 2 WILL NOT happen?

It WILL NOT happen because Warner Bros. and Snyder himself consider Joss Whedon's Justice League to be canon for the DCEU and all the films that would come after such as Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, among others.

Having another Justice League in the version of Zack Snyder would definitely confuse many DCEU fans as to where the story would be going. It would bring about, more than the confusion, unhealthy competition between the two versions of the film and the comparison would never stop that it would always be which one is better or which one is worse.

To add, the DCEU seems to have planned ahead for the whole franchise, even including various not-so-popular titles such as Hourman and Black Adam. The existence of another Snyder Cut would coincide with the plans of DCEU and could possibly spur some repercussions on the storyline as if Snyder's version would always be lurking around to mess up with the DCEU considering they share the same characters.

Why Zack Snyder's Justice League 2 WILL happen?

It WILL happen as reportedly; Warner Bros. is considering re-establishing a SnyderVerse. In a tweet of a tipster, Grace Randolph, she said that Warner Bros. seems to be interested in the idea of keeping Zack Snyder and give him free reign following the hype of the Snyder Cut. This would be to give him the chance to continue with the sequels Justice League 2 and 3.

However, the said source also stated that it would be dependent on the performance of the film on HBO Max whether Warner Bros. would give a go signal for the projects to move on. Given the popularity of the Snyder Cut, the film seems to have been receiving positive views as the Snyder Cut shows promise of giving more about the storylines from the purview of Snyder himself.

With what his version of the film has gone through considering the obstacles where it victoriously emerged, anything is possible.

The Snyder Cut left various cliffhangers for each hero and the possibility of another film could be the key in answering all these.

For Batman, he continues to make amends with Superman and establishes a Justice League headquarters in Wayne Manor. Ben Affleck was supposed to have his solo Batman film where he will star and direct at the same time. Batman was supposed to go toe-to-toe with Deathstroke and Lex Luthor who plans to reveal Bruce Wayne's identity as Batman.

For Superman, the Man of Steel of Henry Cavill seems to be missing his very own solo movie as well where he dons the suit of Superman the whole time. The possibility is that Superman will be facing the villain Brainiac.

Wonder Woman had much less screen time in Zack Snyder's Justice League. Given that she is an essential part of Bruce Wayne's Justice League, it is possible that Wonder Woman would be establishing Justice League alongside Bruce Wayne.

Another character is Aquaman. With the retcon of the character of Mera, he would be torn between the land and the sea as Mera lures him back to Atlantis. With his character seeming to have more questions, a solo movie for him under the SnyderVerse would explain what happens to him next. Another Justice League film could also retcon his story.

Barry Allen's The Flash just had a better understanding of his powers. To just cut him off like that would definitely not do him justice. If there would be another film, The Flash is expected to tap into his powers more now that he has finally wrapped a finger around it.

Zack Snyder's Justice League calls Cyborg the heart of Justice League. Considering his importance to the team, it would be no surprise that the team would be needing him in the establishment of the Justice League and will be working alongside Wonder Woman and Bruce Wayne.

In general, all of their stories need something more than four hours on screen. Zack Snyder's Justice League, if it would be given a sequel, would be able to balance out all their stories and possibly give them the closure due to them.

Do you think Zack Snyder's Justice League would have a sequel? Anything is possible, right?
