The action role-playing game of Bandai Namco is now adapted into an anime series with Scarlet Nexus among the 2021 Summer Season slate. Since its premiere, fans and viewers have been wondering whether the show would be dubbed in English and when to expect the release date of it if and when there would be one.
Scarlet Nexus is a game of Bandai Namco that could be played through PC, Xbox One, Xbox X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Just a few days after the release of the game, an anime series adaptation of it, produced by Sunrise, made its debut.
The story is set in an alternate future where humanity found a way to develop technology and made a society based on the different substances which could be found in the human brain, giving people extrasensory abilities. An organization was formed, the Other Suppression Force (OSF), to protect humanity from the mindless mutants from Extinction Belt, and they recruit members having supernatural abilities to do this.
Scarlet Nexus releases new episodes every week through Funimation where its premium access subscribers paying $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year could get first dibs of the episodes before being released for free. In Asia, it is licensed by Medialink and Madman Entertainment.
The series is directed by Hiroyuki Nishimura, written by Yōichi Katō, Toshizo Nemoto, and Akiko Inoue, characters designed by Nishimura and Yuji Ito, music composed by Hironori Anazawa. It first made an appearance on television on July 1, 2021 and it continuously releases episodes every week.
When Will Scarlet Nexus Be Dubbed in English?
Great news as Funimation just announced that Scarlet Nexus would be streaming the English dubbed version of the anime series. As reported by Anime News Network, the start of the release of the dubbed version would be on August 5, 2021, and it will also be available in Spanish and Portugese. They also released the whole roster of the voice cast.
Scarlet Nexus releases new episodes every Thursday on Funimation at 10:30 PM JST/ 6:30 AM PT/ 8:30 AM CT/ 9:30 AM EST/ 2:30 PM BST.
