Full Dive, also known as Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life!, brings the anime series and gaming into one whole package as it continues to captivate its viewers with the story, with this, many have been wondering whether Full Dive will be dubbed in English and if there is, when will the expected release date of the dub be?
Full Dive is based on both a Japanese light novel series by Light Tuchihi with the illustrations of Youta published by Media Factory since 2020 under their MF Bunko J imprint, and the seinen manga series by Kino published in Media Factory's seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive. Both the manga series and the light novels are ongoing as they just recently entered the stands in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
The ENGI animated Full Dive has the story of Hiroshi Yūki, a high school student, who loves to play virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing games or VRMMORPGs. When he went to the store, he was forced by Reona, the store manager, to purchase the game Kiwame Quest, a game that is so lifelike and realistic that when you hurt yourself while in the game, it transpires in real life.
Full Dive is available for streaming online through Funimation, where it will have 12 episodes throughout this anime season in a single cour. Funimation gives it's premium access subscribers the privilege of having a week of an earlier release of the episodes of the anime titles under its roster for the rate of $5.99 per month or $59.99 a year. They also release episodes for free the week after such.
On June 8, 2021, Full Dive has been confirmed that it will be having an English dubbed version on Funimation as well as the voice cast. The first episode of the Full Dive has been released in its English dub on June 9, 2021, and the succeeding episodes will be releasing weekly along with the version in the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. A lot are also looking out whether there would be a second season for the anime series but to date, there is still no confirmation about that.
Full Dive releases new episodes every Wednesday via Funimation at 10:30 PM JST. The release time is dependent on your geographical location as follows: Pacific Time: 6:30 AM, Central Time: 8:30 AM, Eastern Time: 9:30 AM, and British Time: 2:30 PM.
