Surprisingly, the stars, when asked about their thoughts about the 2016 Suicide Squad of David Ayer and the fans' call on social media for #ReleaseTheAyerCut, want it for the world to see.

Stars of The Suicide Squad made their red carpet walk for the premiere of the film and some of them responded to the question as regards the #ReleaseTheAyerCut which has the original vision of David Ayer for 2016 movie Suicide Squad.

In a report from CBR, John Cena as the Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad, Mayling Ng as Mongal, and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag for both films, share the same thoughts as regards the #ReleaseTheAyerCut call of the fans.

John Cena, who also has an upcoming television spin-off series of Peacemaker, said, "It's in a company's best interest to listen to their audience. If it's in demand and they've got it, why not?" Mayling Ng also has the same view on the topic, "It's a win-win for everyone. It's a win-win for him to get his vision out and also Warner Bros. makes double the money on the same film."

As for Joel Kinnaman who appeared on both Ayer's Suicide Squad and James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, he agreed with Cena saying, "Why not? You always want to see the director's vision."

Recently, the #ReleaseTheAyerCut surfaced following the success of the call of the fans for #ReleaseTheSynderCut wherein the version of director Zack Snyder was given a green light to showcase all the four hours of his original vision for the film. David Ayer was in the same position as that of Snyder where the vision he intended for Suicide Squad did not make it to the screen.

Since The Suicide Squad has been in the news for quite some time now from its announcement to the release of the film, #ReleaseTheAyerCut got more and more intense as the fans call on Warner Bros. to give the same treatment to the movie and allow the viewers to really see what Ayer's vision for Suicide Squad is.

Ayer was really passionate about Suicide Squad and he revealed that what has been released to the public was not the vision he originally had for the movie having 40 minutes cut off from it. As for the stars of The Suicide Squad, they support the call as they, too, want to see the film of the director.

The Suicide Squad premieres on August 6 in theaters and on HBO Max.
