Disney Park has been expanding with the construction of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser resort which will cater an immersive experience of creating the feeling of traveling while onboard a starship of Star Wars for those who would be going to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Recent aerial photos revealed that the hotel's construction is underway as it begins to form shapes making it look more like a starcruiser in the Star Wars universe. (You can see the photos in this link.)
The hotel will reportedly be smaller than other Disney resorts especially in terms of beds and maximum capacity. This would be the consequence of focusing on the immersion of future visitors to personally experience their own Star Wars story where Disney will surely cost that to those who would be staying once resort prices are set.
The Galactic Starcruiser resort was first revealed by Disney during the D23 expo 2019 where Bob Chapek, previously Walt Disney Parks chairman and now the CEO of Disney, presented the resort under the Disney Parks discussion.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser resort will be offering a two-night itinerary for the arrival and departure of the guests together which is unlike that of Disney Cruise Line. Those who will be going to the resort will get to experience their very own Star Wars story throughout their stay in the said resort.
The resort will be the starship Halcyon which is known for its trips to exotic locales. The guests will be having well-furnished cabins and they will also be dining aboard the vessel.
The Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu will also be available to visit. The guests can also have an interactive stay with the characters, crew, and other passengers of the ship in a Star Wars story.
The views of the resort will also be changing as the guests travel through the galaxy far away. The Halcyon house will have several hidden rooms where the guests can interact to hide secrets or even hold meetings.
Disney leaves the decision to the guest on how their own Star Wars story would be.
