Spider-Man: No Way Home gets way better not only with the arrival of previous characters from former Spider-Man films, but also, Sony Motion Picture Group President Sanford Panitch said that "there actually is a plan" to connect the Spider-Man Universe, or the Sony Pictures Universe for Marvel Characters, to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, opening more doors in the future.

In an interview with Variety, Sanford Panitch said "there actually is a plan, I think now maybe it's getting a little more clear for people where we're headed and I think when ‘No Way Home' comes out, even more, will be revealed."

Panitch added, "The great thing is we have this very excellent relationship with Kevin. There's an incredible sandbox there to play with. We want those MCU movies to be absolutely huge, because that's great for us and our Marvel characters, and I think that's the same thing on their side. But we have a great relationship. There are lots of opportunities, I think, that is going to happen."

If and when this happens, it will allow Tom Holland's Spider-Man to be both in the films of Sony for Marvel, and in the MCU and can co-exist between the two. Considering that No Way Home is the last film in the deal between Marvel and Sony in sharing Spider-Man, the film being the spark to allow the character to be himself between the two universe makes it even more exciting.

Recently, Sony Pictures confirms to bring back Aaron Taylor-Johnson to Marvel in another way as he was cast to play Kraven the Hunter in their latest project, Kraven. Jared Leto is set to make his jump from DC to Marvel through Sony's Morbius. And of course, Venom, who already has two films under Sony.

If No Way Home is what it is expected to be, the bridge between MCU and Sony Pictures Universe for Marvel Characters, it is also possible that these characters could pass the same bridge making one whole universe together. Now that is an interesting one!
