Snowpiercer is inspired by the sci-fi novel Le Transperceneige and is the TV adaptation of the film of the same name. Its concept is an ark train carrying the last remnants of humanity and basically most life on earth after the world freeze to its core in the efforts of scientists to cool the Earth after global warming not considering that the world would be undergoing another ice age.
In a battle of classes, Snowpiercer faced various challenges along the way. A visionary was smart enough to create an ark for humanity to survive and evade extinction. A social divide is ever-present in 1,001 train cars, revolving the world non-stop as the motion of the train is the source of the power of almost everything in the train especially heat.
The first class belongs to the rich, those who paid for their tickets to the board, the second class are those who have contributions in important fields such as doctors, leaders of sectors, and the likes. The third class is those who pledge their services in exchange for their ticket – the beating heart of the train, all the workers in essentials such as butchers, farmers, janitors, among others. The tallies, those crammed in the last coach, are those who boarded without tickets or anything but did everything they can do to survive.
Tired of the 7 years of unfair treatment, the Tailies started a revolution for democracy – one that will forever change the eternal engine, the Snowpiercer.
Snowpiercer is currently in its second season and it has lined up ten episodes namely: The Time of Two Engines for the first, Smoulder to Life for the second, A Great Odyssey for the third, A Single Trade for the fourth, and Keep Hope Alive for the fifth.
The latter half of the episodes are Many Miles from Snowpiercer for Episode 6, Our Answer for Everything for Episode 7, The Eternal Engineer for Episode 8, The Show Must Go On for Episode 9, and Into the White for Episode 10 respectively.
Even with the nearing end of Season 2, there is no end in sight for the whole series as it secured a third season even before Season 2 began. The Engine Eternal lives on.

What happened in Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 7?
Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 7, "Our Answer for Everything," things went awry and bloody inside the Engine Eternal. Brakeman Bess Till made rounds on how many casualties there are as Wilford elevated violence inside the train, Till observed how humanity made it through the years as flashbacks show how the casualties ended up as they are.
Wilford kept targeting the people who have their loyalty to Layton as Layton just managed to take over the Snowpiercer in the first season and he successfully did it despite losing 147 souls and 7 train cars leaving Snowpiercer with only 994 cars strong. Layton turns to Pike, a tailie whom he has up and down friendship with, with the violence he sworn to before and to kill for him and the Snowpiercer, be on his side to take down Wilford and those loyal to him.
Meanwhile, Melanie barely made it to the remote Breslauer Research Station in the Rocky Mountains, when she realized that the Snowpiercer did not slow down to take her back and the Engine Eternal was in no condition to stop. This means that Melanie would have to wait for the next revolution of the train, another year. What will happen to the biggest brain of Snowpiercer, the engineer who made the ark train possible?

Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 8 is titled The Eternal Engineer, probably referring to Melanie Cavill, the brains behind the ark train, and what lies ahead for her. On the other hand, the Snowpiercer will be having an engineering catastrophe leaving Layton with a hard choice to make, a choice that may cost him all that he has.

Snowpiercer Season 2 is at home in their official network, TNT, and it will be accessible through the cable network of TNT.
