Re: Zero − Starting Life in Another World is an animated series based on a light novel of the same name written by Tappei Nagatsuki with the illustrations of Shin'ichirō Ōtsuka where Subaru Natsuki gets transported to another world while on his way home from a convenience store.
Produced by the studio of White Fox, this chart-topping Isekai anime series has been captivating its viewers with its interesting story and the mind-boggling concept of reliving the same event over and over again only to meet the same fate in the end.
Subaru Natsuki, still bewildered with only a bag of groceries and a cell phone with no coverage, gets attacked by a group of thugs and beaten down. He was saved by a passerby who was in search of the culprit who stole her insignia, a mysterious beautiful girl named Satella.
Indebted to Satella after she saved him from a group of thugs, Subaru offers his help in Satella's search for her insignia. When they chanced upon what they are looking for, they were brutally murdered minutes after as a dark force has stalked them from the shadows.
Subaru reawakens to the same thing over again: the same group of thugs, same beating, same meeting with Satella, the same finding of the insignia, and same death. Things seem to happen in a loop and every event repeats itself.

Emilia went into her dreams where she meets a cat asking its name but when the cat is about to reveal its name, Emilia gets transported into a forest where she recognizes she is in the dream world. She feels everything around her and she asks Echidna if she's listening to what she was just saying.
Echidna wipes off the leaves all over her body while Emilia apologizes to her as she made her run around all day and she got dirty. Echidna dismissed Emilia by saying that her sympathy will not change her way towards her and she'll be a fool to think that.
Emilia was worried about Echidna but the latter continues to be hotheaded. Emilia revealed to her the dreams happening at once and Echidna shed some light that the dream world is a figurative expression, a world that replicates memories.
