Marvel seems to be in celebration of their movies that they released a tribute to past films then introduced what comes next giving away various new information on upcoming films with official titles, release dates, and title cards, even including new scenes to those arriving this year like Black Widow's long-overdue solo film.

Black Widow, the solo film of the belle of the OG Avengers will finally be up for the big screen after various push backs it experienced with the ongoing global pandemic. In the sizzle reel of all the upcoming projects of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there were a lot of new scenes featuring Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) along with Red Guardian (David Harbour), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), and even the Taskmaster having picked up his shield in a familiar way.

Aside from being a long-overdue film for Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow is set to introduce the candidate for the new bearer of the moniker with Yelena. It is also hinted that the film will be the return of Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, as introduced in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Black Widow was supposed to be her debut but due to the scheduling of the releases, it was made in a different part of the universe.

Black Widow will take place in the events between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. The film has been rated PG-13.

Black Widow will be released in theaters and on Disney Plus Premier Access on July 9, 2021.
