Netflix Geeked Day 3 Packed with Big Announcements

Day three of Netflix Geeked Week continues to prove a promising event following two days of various trailer releases, cast interviews, and big reveals on a number of titles under the streaming platform and today, big announcements were made by Stranger Things, Gunpowder Milkshake, Lucifer, Trese, Fear Street Trilogy, and so much more.

Halfway through the weeklong event, Netflix Geeked still has more to give out especially with announcements from big shows that have been much-awaited by many. Here is a quick rundown of all the big news from the event:

Stranger Things reveals the addition of four new cast members on top of the eight names joining the Hawkins gang as the series dives into Season 4. Currently, the show is filming and the creators of the show, the Duffer Brothers, proudly announced the inclusion of Amybeth McNulty as Vickie, Myles Truitt as Patrick, Regina Ting Chen as Ms. Kelly, and Grace Van Dien as Chrissy. Stranger Things will also be having a six-episode scripted podcast which will be a prequel to the series and will be following Robyn Buckley. Plus, Magic: The Gathering fans, look out for the collaboration of the game with Stranger Things!
Gunpowder Milkshake, starring Karen Gillan, releases a brand-new clip showing a wonderful snippet of what to expect for the upcoming action-packed film. And boy, Angela Basset, Michelle Yeoh, and Carla Gugino sure are lady bosses right there!
The second trailer for Fear Street movie trilogy is out and the R.L. Stine classic horror continues to show promise and considering that each of the three films will be releasing weekly will surely be a massive one.
The Coven of The School for Good and Evil also released a snippet showing Demi Issac Oviawe as Anadil, Kaitlyn Akinpelumi as Dot, and Freya Parks as Hester.
Gina Rodriguez and Shamier Anderson gets a new preview with that to expect in Awake which is currently streaming on Netflix.
Geek out with zombies as Black Summer also shows a sneak peek of the Season 2 of the series arriving on June 17.
Trese debuts its five-minute opening scene, a Netflix original anime series to watch out for, indeed. The series will be released on Friday, June 16th and it definitely shows promise in introducing Alexandra and what to expect in the show.
Definitely a much-awaited part of Day Three of the event is Lucifer with their Table Read with the cast and characters surely exciting the fans and viewers following the show.
