It might come as a surprise to everyone because no one saw it coming, but it is, indeed, happening! Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Game of Square Enix is going to be available to Nintendo Switch as officially announced during the Nintendo E3 2021 Direct presentation.
Previous games of Square Enix like that of Marvel's Avengers weren't released on Nintendo Switch which is why a lot are excited to hear that Marvel'sGuardians of the Galaxy will be coming to the Switch platform. This isn't the first time Marvel games arrived on the system, though, as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 were made available there.
Although the Nintendo Direct presentation did not show that much information about the game, it is just fair considering that it took its time last Sunday during the Square Enix game showcase, being the first one revealed in their long list of upcoming releases.
The game will be featuring the band of misfits led by Star-Lord/ Peter Quill and he would be giving out orders to the team through the help of the players to be able to surpass the challenges up ahead. If you missed the gameplay trailer, you should definitely watch it as it has just the right amount of humor and action combined. A teaser, they planned to sell Rocket to Lady Hellbender but chose Groot in a split-second decision. If that doesn't excite you, hearing Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out for a Hero will.
Also announced in the same presentation, a Nintendo Switch deal is coming as the Nintendo Switch Online 12-month family subscription bundle will be offered with a free 128GB SanDisk microSD card for $34.99 at Walmart and you can check it out here because it will only be available until supplies last!
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will be available to play on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, and the pre-order are now up as ell which could give you a package of the throwback costumes of the team.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will have its release on October 26, 2021.
