Manifest Cast Calls Fans To #SaveManifest After Cancellation of the Show

It came as a surprise to the followers of the show when NBC recently announced that one of its series, Manifest, has been canceled after three seasons. Last week, the finale aired with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger and many are waiting for what comes next. Now, the creator of the show and the cast members are calling to the fans in hopes of finding Manifest a new home with #SaveManifest.

Creator Jeff Rake broke the news on Twitter saying, "My dear Manifesters, I'm devastated by NBC's decision to cancel us. That we've been shut down in the middle is a gut punch, to say the least. Hoping to find a new home. You the fans deserve an ending to your story. Thanks for the love shown to me, the cast, and the crew. #savemanifest"

He started the #SaveManifest and he was joined by cast members having the same hashtag paraded over Twitter. Here are some of their tweets:

Manifest starred Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, Luna Blaise, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Matt Long, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Holly Taylor, Daniel Sunjata, Francesca Faridany, Adriane Lenox, Alfredo Narciso, Shirley Rumierk, Victoria Cartagena, Elizabeth Marvel, Maryann Plunkett, Garrett Wareing, and Ellen Tamaki.

Manifest made its debut on Netflix and even became the number one show on the list of most-watched shows in a day. Because of this, the crew behind the show and the fans are hoping that Netflix or any other television network could take the show for its remaining season showing them that the series has an audience waiting for the next installment and that it would show promise just like it did with the previous seasons.

The series has a six-season plan and with only three seasons aired, there is another half of the story waiting to be told about the plane that went missing for five and a half years only to return as if time never passed. Strange things followed the passengers like the callings and the death date.
