Loki Teased By Marvel Executive Producer To Have Multiple Seasons

Marvel opening its doors to series also opened its doors to more possibilities and expansion. With the series turning up on Disney+ one by one, many are asking whether there would be multiple seasons for some of the titles especially when WandaVision ended with a cliffhanger.

With The Falcon and The Winter Soldier coming to a close this Friday, when Marvel Head Kevin Feige was asked about the future of the series, he answered it to be part of the "spoiler realm" and that some shows could be either connected to the Avengers: Endgame or in preparation to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe itself.

However, new evidence shows up that some shows could really have another season like the confirmation from Marvel Studios VP of Production and Development and Executive Producer Nate Moore with IndieWire that The Falcon and The Winter Soldierhas been submitted to the Emmys under the Best Drama category instead of being under the Limited Series category.

In the same interview, Moore talked about the future of Loki as well saying, "The one that comes to mind — and that probably isn't a secret — I think there's a lot of storytelling in ‘Loki' that's really irreverent and clever and cool, but also lends itself to multiple seasons in a way where it's not a one-off."

Moore added that Tom Hiddleston's performance is amazing, he stated, "I think of all the great stuff he's done, but this show is going to show such different sides and really the true scope of his range. I think that show is going to surprise a lot of people."

This seemingly teases a confirmation that Loki will be having another season and given that the series only has six episodes lined up and with that much of a story to tell given that Loki is in his very own alternate timeline created by his actions in Avengers: Endgame, it would be a delight to see more of the God of Mischief playing hero in his very own series.

Talking about opening a door for possibilities, Loki is set to encounter the Time Variance Authority, an untouched topic in the MCU easily making it a candidate for another season as there could be a lot of story arcs the series could cover.
