Hortensia Saga follows the Kingdom of Hortensia, a powerful Kingdom with two main territories of Carmellia and Olivier. The kingdom faced a betrayal when the king was murdered by one of the dukes in his vision to rule the kingdom for himself.
A rightful heir, secretly, exists far from the throne in the guise of a man. The princess is coming of age and is preparing to take the throne back to where it belongs, to her. But the kingdom is facing yet another adversity, a revolt ensues in Carmellia and this is only threatened more as things are getting worse for the kingdom as the monsters arrive.
The isekai anime of Hortensia Saga is produced by Liden Films and has lined up 12 episodes for this season. It is adapted from the free-to-play role-playing game os the same name for Android and iOS released by f4Samurai and Sega which was released in 2015.
Hortensia Saga will be releasing a Blu-ray and DVD of the series which will be in three volumes: Volume 1, Middle Volume, and Volume 2. Every volume will have a limited edition with a special digital jacket and will include a select game for each volume, bonus features like the opening video of the series and the game included, and the original soundtrack of the series.
Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine also serialized a seinen manga series for Hortensia Saga where Pon Jea and Seiji will bring into the manga pagesHortensia Saga which will be published in English by Media Factory.

In Episode 8, Marius is held by Didier and she swore to protect all her friends and everything. She was held captive and is set to be executed. She was even called a witch. Marius feels like, with her sacrifice, no one else would get hurt because of her. She even said her farewell to Alfred.
Alfred and the team are on the quest to prevent the execution of Marius and are on the quest to save her from the brink of death.
