Girl power is on with a wonderful set of women heading the film and while there is an ongoing pandemic throwing challenges on the film, bigger plans await.
About to premiere in a week, Gunpowder Milkshake is headed by Karen Gillan and she will be joined by a star-studded ensemble full of powerful women such as Angela Bassett, Michelle Yeoh, Lena Headet, Carla Gugino, and Chloe Coleman. The film is set to make its debut on Netflix as StudioCanal chose the streaming platform while securing rights for its theatrical release as well.
During the Cannes Film Festival, as StudioCanal celebrates its 30th anniversary, the studio revealed that various projects are under development and one of which is the sequel to Gunpowder Milkshake but the details are still in the shadows as there has been no confirmation yet what the progress of the plans are, who will be returning, and when it will be released.
