We only got a glimpse of Marvel's Eternals within a few seconds in the celebration of movies posted by Marvel and the hype is real! Oscar-winning director Chloe Zhao's work really proves to be the best even with such a short preview and none other than Eternals' star Angeline Jolie praises her for what she has done so far with the film. Jolie even shared she already saw the full trailer and we are all jealous!
Angelina Jolie shared with CinemaBlend to talk about Those Who Wish Me Dead, her new film, and Jolie shared her thoughts on Zhao's recent win in the Oscars with Nomadland saying, "I was very, very happy. Very, very happy. I think she's a special director, She's a really interesting woman. She's very thoughtful, very serious about her work. And I think she's bringing a new voice through her films, and I think to Marvel. So I'm very excited for people to see it."
Nothing but praise comes out of Jolie's mouth when it comes to Zhao and it seems that Jolie gets more excited with her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as a video surfaced online via Twitter in an interview for her new film that she has already seen the full trailer of Eternals, Jolie said, "I saw the trailer but it's not out yet... Is it!?" The interviewer said that the fans only saw her wield her sword and he said, "I'm sold!"
In the sizzle reel, although it was only for a few seconds, we see few snippets of Chloe Zhao's Eternals, and goodness gracious, it was amazing! It could be forgiven that in one scene, there was a cameraman walking beside them but clearly, having a preview of what to expect for Eternals only hypes up everyone for what is in store for the film and what Zhao could have possibly done making the film one of a kind.
Surely, such a full-on official trailer would be worth the wait! Can't wait to finally see more of Angelina Jolie as Thena!
Marvel's Eternals is set to premiere on November 5, 2021.
