An uncanny romantic comedy series, Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro continues to show promise as it gives just the right amount of both laughter and story mixed into one anime series. It introduced us to characters like Senpai, Hayase Nagatoro, and her friends, Maki, Sakura, and Yoshi. But one question arises, do Nagatoro's friends like Senpai considering their actuations on him?

Based on the shōnen manga series of the same name by Nanashi or 774 first published online in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket and later in print through Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Comics, Don't' Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro has been animated by TMS Entertainment in a weird yet working kind of anime people get to love and anticipate.

Streaming online through Crunchyroll, the premium access subscribers get a chance to watch Don't' Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro one week earlier than those without as part of their subscription to the anime streaming giant costing $9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year, and while there is no news yet about the English dubbed version, the anime series is available in its original Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Do Nagatoro's Friends Like Senpai?

Let's admit it, Nagatoro gets annoyed when her friends pick on Senpai but she does the same to him. It seems that she wants Senpai all to herself and that she can be the only one to bully him, tease him, and possibly annoy him in all sorts possible. Nagatoro is a tsundere, she may start cold to Senpai but she later gets warm on him as well.

Naoto Hachiōji, also known as Senpai, used to be a meek and timid introvert before knowing Hayase Nagatoro. Because of his characteristics, Senpai tries to avoid social interactions but now, with Nagatoro, he gets to interact with other people such as the friends of Nagatoro who constantly teases him like when they call him a "virgin" and made him squeeze bean buns put on their chests.

Maki is the most mature among the friends of Nagatoro, acting as a big sister of all of them. They started with quite a rivalry as Maki calls Senpai "Paisen" and she continuously tease both him and Nagatoro.

Yoshi, on the other hand, is a little Maki as she usually follows her around and does what Maki does. She is not really that highly critical when it comes to brightness but she has a high spirit easily being a sun to everyone around her.

Sakura strings guys at once for fun. She does this as a brooding jealousy among guys who are fighting for her attention. She's sweet and quite relaxed, and among the group, she's the least seen with Nagatoro.

Do they like Senpai? Most likely, the answer is a no. Despite teasing Senpai always, they are friends with Nagatoro. Remember when in Mean Girls, they said it's an unspoken rule in a circle of friends of girls not to date the same guy? Same goes with Nagatoro and friends. They are just teasing him to push him onto Nagatoro, possibly just being as playful as they are.
