In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 203, Surprise Attack!!, Kawaki finally found the last piece of the vase and Naruto wakes up just in time. He tries to convince Kawaki to stop searching but that triggered him to tell Naruto that he is not his son. Koji observes Kawaki and wonders why Jigen did not make any moves on the boy yet.
In training, Boruto suddenly activates his Karma and it was as if it resonates with Kawaki’s. Because of this, they rush back home. The Karma of Kawaki rises causing a portal to open where Jigen came out to Naruto and Koji’s shock. They realize that the mission on the Vessel Retrieval was all part of the plan of Jigen. But the most shocking revelation isn’t that just yet – Jigen tells Naruto his son should come with him, about Kawaki.
Kawaki denis Jigen as his father and Naruto defends him as well in refusal. Konohomaru tries to protect the house and Kurama aids Naruto in entering the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode. The tainjutsu skills are not enough putting the Hokage at a disadvantage. As Jigen charges for a massive attack, Kawaki does the sacrifice to save Naruto and all those who could be affected.
When they were leaving, Naruto tells Kawaki he is part of their family. Because of this, Jigen warps with Naruto and they get transported to Kara’s dimension planning to end the life of Naruto right then and there. Suddenly, Sasuke surprised Jigen to help Naruto and they go all out in attacking Jigen who will do just about anything to eliminate them both.
