With the solo movie of Natasha Romanoff finally arriving after the long drought of having no MCU films for two years, it was an exhilarating feeling to get to see it. The ending of Black Widow perfectly connects the past and the present, even filling out some details of the in-between. So, what happened at the end of the movie and how will it be significant in the MCU?

At the end of Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff finally ended the Red Room by taking down its head, General Dreykov, and she even got the chance to make amends on the red on her ledger as she saves the Taskmaster, who turned out to be the daughter of Dreykov whom she thought died when she and Clint were in Budapest.
Not only that, Natasha, together with Yelena, Melina, and Red Guardian, in saving the widows under the control of Dreykov and she was also able to copy the names of those who are still in the program to be saved. She also handed over the vial of the antidote to Yelena to give back the widows their free will and away from being controlled.
While it seems that Natasha called the Cavalry, aka Ross who brought the enforcers of the Sokovia Accords, she contacted Mason once again to give her a new plane to fly, and Mason gave her a Quinjet with the time and resources she had given him.
We see Natasha donning her hairstyle in Infinity War, the blonde bob cut, and she now wears the blazer that Yelena gave her, the exact same one she wears later in the MCU. With the Quinjet in place, it sets what happens before Infinity War and how Black Widow aided the Avengers to break out in prison. This gives a perfect explanation as to why she re-joined the Avengers before the Mad Titan arrived.
While the end scene connects Civil War and Infinity War, the post-credits scene is set far in the future as we see Yelena visiting the grave of Natasha with her new dog. As she was silently looking at her sister’s grave, Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine arrived and she talks to Yelena about her next target showing the picture of Hawkeye/ Clint Barton and referring to him as the person responsible for the death of Natasha.
This scene sets up Yelena’s arrival in the upcoming series of Hawkeye and seeing Val once more after she appeared in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier surely connects all the dots as it is possible that Val is setting up the Dark Avengers.
