Army of the Dead Reaches 72 Million Views on Netflix

One of the most anticipated films to arrive this year as Zack Snyder returns to the zombie genre, fans of the flesh-eating undead gets a zombie apocalypse film with Army of the Dead and in just a week after its release on the streaming platform, it is already topping the charts and it is expected to be one of the most popular films of Netflix in the first four weeks of release.

Netflix proudly announced that Army of the Dead reached 72 million households who watched the film on their streaming platform. In the tweet of Netflix Film, it is stated, "72 million households are betting on dead. ARMY OF THE DEAD has been the #1 film around the world and is projected to be one of Netflix's most popular films ever in its first 4 weeks."

Just about a week on the streaming platform, Army of the Dead brought in such number of viewers already and it is expected that the film will continue to have more views in the following days and months. It is projected that the film would be one of the titles of Netflix making it really big in the first month after its release.

The director of the film, Zack Snyder, also expressed his gratitude to those who watched the film in his tweet, "Thank you for the amazing support!!! #AOTD" Considering the success of the film, a plan for a sequel has already been teased by the director on top of the confirmed prequel film, Army of Thieves, and animated series, Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas.

Army of the Dead cast includes Dave Bautista, Matthias Schweighöfer, Omari Hardwick, Theo Rossi, Ana De La Reguera, Ella Purnell, Huma Qureshi, Hiroyuki Sanada, Samantha Win, Rich Cetrone, Nora Arnezeder, Raúl Castillo, and Garret Dillahunt.

Army of the Dead is currently on Netflix.
