Since a Shaman King remake was announced, it became one of the most anticipated Spring 2021 anime, and it's finally here. The shonenanime premiered recently and many have been eager to follow Yoh in his quest to become a shaman king.

Shaman King (2021) Overview and Episode 2 Recap
Shaman King started as a 1998-2004 shonen manga, which received an adaptation in 2001, which didn't cover the manga in its entirety. The newest series is here to make amends.
In Shaman King, we follow Yoh, who - in typical shonen fashion - wants to become the most powerful shaman; a being that can summon spirits and manipulate the world in any way they wish. To do so, he must come victorious out of a competition that only happens once every 500 years. Not exactly low pressure.
In Episode 2, Oyamada finds out about Ren, who controls a samurai ghost. The former is shocked to discover that Yoh is not the only shaman, but Yoh has always been aware of that. Ren tries to take Ademaru away from Yoh but fails. The two fight, and once Yoh emerges victorious, Ren realizes that his opponent has what it takes to become a Shaman King.

While we've listed the release times above for future reference, please note that Crunchyroll and Funimation haven't licensed Shaman King (2021). It's currently only available on Netflix Japan. This is to be expected, as Netflix in the US and Europe usually licenses full seasons that can be binged at once, rather than ongoing works.
