With episode 19 released last week, the first season of studio MAPPA's Jujutsu Kaisen is approaching its conclusion. While we're waiting for episode 20 to be released, we've gathered everything you need to know about the Shōnen series.
As a whole, Jujutsu Kaisen is a supernatural horror anime based on a manga by Gege Akutami that follows occult-loving student Yuuji Itadori as he unknowingly engages with powers he shouldn't have, receiving dangerous powers of his own in the process.
The 19th episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled "Black Flash," was action-packed and focused on fighting sequences as the students are faced with chaos. With the one-armed curse showing its full potential, the stakes are higher than ever: all students must team up, but this seems a bit too much even for the best of them.
Thankfully, Itadori and Toudou arrive with the former obviously has come a long way, using a new fighting technique called Black Flash - less showy than others but very effective. In true MAPPA fashion, the fighting sequences were visually striking and we can't wait to see more.
