If you're interested in donghua and wondering where to watch Mo Dao Zu Shi, you've come to the right place!

As anime and manga become more popular in China, so do donghua -- Chinese animation with often similar aesthetics.

Mo Dao Zu Shi, also known as Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, is arguably one of the most popular donghua right now.

If you enjoyed other BL anime such as Heaven's Official Blessing, Mo Dao Zu Shi shouldn't be missing from your watch list!

Unfortunately, Mo Dao Zu Shi is not available on Netflix as of writing, but this doesn't mean that the popular streaming platform will leave fans of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji hanging.

The live-action series, known as The Untamed, is available to stream on Netflix with English subtitles. And, without meaning to sound biased, it's excellent.

If you're interested in donghua, Netflix is currently home to Heaven's Official Blessing, which is also based on a web novel series by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, the creator of Mo Dao Zu Shi.

Being a donghua rather than a Japanese anime, Mo Dao Zu Shi isn't available on Crunchyroll at the moment.

In Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, the main character is reincarnated and gets a second chance in life.

Crunchyroll has plenty of other titles in which the main character gets a second chance in life.

That being said, Mo Dao Zu Shi is far from an isekai anime; Wei Wuxian gets reincarnated as himself, and his story is far more complex.

As of writing, Funimation doesn't host Mo Dao Zu Shi. This is to be expected, as the streaming platform is mostly home to Japanese anime.

While Funimation hasn't shut down yet, fans are debating its usefulness for those who didn't already have an account when the Crunchyroll merger was announced.

Because of this, we doubt that Funimation will get many new titles going forward, so we don't expect to see Mo Dao Zu Shi there.

While HIDIVE is finally gaining some traction as a platform that has at least a few titles worth your time every anime season, Mo Dao Zu Shi is currently not available on the anime streaming service.

Where Else Can You Watch Mo Dao Zu Shi?

As of writing, Mo Dao Zu Shi isn't available on the most common anime platforms, nor on streaming services such as HBO Max or Prime Video.

International fans can watch the donghua on Tencent's overseas streaming platform, WeTV. This can be accessed via a browser or via the free mobile app.

Just remember that you will find the anime under the title Founder of Diabolism, rather than the original Chinese or the most common Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation.

Some episodes of Mo Dao Zu Shi can be watched legally on Tencent's official YouTube channel.

Let's hope that Netflix, which already has the live-action, or some other platform will also pick up Mo Dao Zu Shi soon now that the story has wrapped up!
