A hologram that just wants to make people happy with her voice and a second hologram from the future sent back in time to stop a war between the AI and the humans; all this and more in Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song!
The first two episodes of Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song are going to premiere back to back on Saturday, April 3rd. The series will appear shortly after it airs on Funimation.
The series will air in Japan at 11:30 pm Japan Standard Time, which translates into airing at the following times around the world:
Pacific Time: 7:30 am
Central Time: 9:30 am
Eastern Time: 10:30 am
British Time: 3:30 pm
In this original story, the setting is an AI theme park called NiaLand and the main character is the park’s first autonomous humanoid AI cast member, Vivy. She gets on stage every day to sing for the audience, but she’s just not very popular with the masses. Yet she still keeps singing day after day with the hopes of her songs bringing people happiness.
One day an AI who claims to be from 100 years in the future named Matsumoto appears in front of her. He tells her that his mission is to stop a war from happening between humans and AI, and that Vivy is the key to that mission.
Created and written by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara, this series has a good chance of breaking out and becoming a surprise hit. Animated by Wit Studio (Attack on Titan), this series will look good at the very least, but we shall have to wait and see on if the series will be able to capitalize on that.
