Vivy continues to be the standout show of the season in just about every way!
In the latest episode of Vivy, we see a brand new Diva. She’s confident, she’s hands on with the surrounding staff, and she’s a bigger success than anyone could have ever imagined she would be when the series first began. She’s such a big act now, in fact, that she’s been invited to be the closing act at an upcoming music festival. The only problem is that it feels like something is wrong and she can’t figure out why until someone from her past makes his return and reminds her of her former mission (though she has to employ some extreme coercion to get him to talk).
Releasing on Saturdays around the world, the next episode of Vivy will premiere on Saturday, May 15th.
Vivy: Flourite Eye’s Song airs at 11:30 pm Japan Standard Time, which means it will stream on Funimation outside of Japan at or around the following times around the world:
Pacific Time: 7:30 am
Central Time: 9:30 am
Eastern Time: 10:30 am
I will keep restating this as often as I have to in order to make sure that everyone, including those in the back row, hears this: If you’re not watching Vivy yet, what are you doing with your life? Even I, the one who dislikes sci-fi on a fairly regular basis, am finding intense and immense joy and satisfaction with this series and think that everyone else should feel the same.
Vivy is more than just a very pretty series (though it is a very pretty series), it’s an intense look at society and what our roles are going to be going forward. I love this series is painting a bleak view of the future, despite all the amazing advances that will be afforded to us by science and technology.
Vivy has been an incredible ride thus far, and even if the ending absolutely destroys itself, I feel strongly that I’ll still look back at the journey it took me on fondly.
