Yes, it's another isekai, but this time our twist isn't that the hero is completely overpowered but more that he's totally and utterly useless.

In a new trailer for the upcoming fantasy series, Dungeon of Black Company, we not only get to hear the voices of the main characters for the first time but we also meet some new members and learn the month that this series is going to premiere. Not a bad deal for only 90 seconds of your life.

As revealed in the trailer, Dungeon of Black Company will premiere in July 2021 with the following cast members bringing the characters to life (character names first):

Kinji Ninomiya: Katsuyuki Konishi
Rim: Misaki Kuno
Wanibe: Hiro Shimono
Belza: Satomi Satou
Boss Goblin: Wataru Takagi

Studio SILVER LINK is handling the animation this time around, with Mirai Minato serving as the director. Deko Akao is overseeing the scripts.

Originally a manga created by Yohei Yasumura, the series has been running on the Mag Comi website since December 2016. It has 6 volumes out in Japan as of July 2020 and 5 volumes out in English (released by Seven Seas) as of September 2020. In this series, the main character is a guy named Kinji who has absolutely zero work ethic and is generally a layabout in real life. One day, however, he is transported to a fantasy world, but instead of being welcomed with open arms like a hero, an evil mining company enslaves him and forced to work as cheap labor.

I'll admit that this series looks a bit trashy based on the trailer and what I've seen of the manga covers. However, sometimes trashy can be exactly what you need after a hard day at work and this could fit that bill quite nicely! If nothing else, at least it doesn't look like we'll be watching another overpowered hero gather a gaggle of giggling harem members.
