In chapter 307 of the shonenmanga series My Hero Academia, the focus is squarely on what's left of the city. Two young heroes are trying to get the last civilian holdouts out of the city before something terrible happens to them. Unfortunately, negotiations go poorly and the regular citizens declare they will no longer rely on heroes. Even more, unfortunately, is that the murderous villain Jailbreak has made his way to that very part of the city and is still on a rampage.

What will happen next? Who is that mysterious figure who appears on the last page of the chapter?

Unfortunately, the evacuation negotiation goes badly (or Suuuck City, as Turtle Neck puts it). Even worse is when the villain, Jailbreak, does attack, the pair are caught almost totally unaware with almost zero warning given to them! Grand tries to fend off Jailbreak all on his own, but nearly dies in the process before a mysterious figure rescues him.
