The Suicide Squad Star Margot Robbie Teases 'New Sides' of Harley Quinn

The version of 2016's Suicide Squad saw the debut of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, the actor then reprised her role in the recent Birds of Prey film. The Cupid of Crime is set to return once again in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad and it looks like she'll have new sides to herself that we have yet to see.

With DC FanDome literally just a day away, fans are excited to learn more about Gunn's movie. In a recent promo video for the virtual event, Robbie reveals what to expect from her character in The Suicide Squad. "I always have such a ball playing Harley Quinn," she said. "Every time I've done it, I learn new things about her, and this movie's no different."

"When Harley's put in a different group of people and put in a different place, you're going to see different aspects of her personality coming out," Robbie adds. "Depending on how she feels about those people or the things she's doing."

The actress teased that we'll get new sides of Harley again. Being included in a new and big group of people, it'll be "insane" and as always, "crazy fun."

From the character's debut in the 2017 film as well as in the Birds of Prey movie, Harley Quinn never fails to surprise us. And sure enough, we'll be in for a ride in The Suicide Squad.

Alongside Robbie, The Suicide Squad stars Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, David Dastmalchian, John Cena, Joaquin Cosio, Nathan Fillion, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Steve Agee, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, Idris Elba, and Michael Rooker. The film is set for release on Aug. 6, 2021.
