Star Wars Announces New The Mandalorian Books and Comics

Star Wars fans could dive deeper into the world of The Mandalorian as a new publishing program dedicated to the Disney+ series has just been revealed!

StarWars.com made a recent announcement, revealing whole new books and titles for "fans of all ages." The series will kick off this fall, along with releases to come in the winter and spring. There are 6 projects revealed so far: The Art of The Mandalorian (Season One) by Phil Szostak with cover by Doug Chiang, The Mandalorian: Original Novel (adult novel, Del Rey) by Adam Christopher, Pablo Hidalgo's The Mandalorian: The Ultimate Visual Guide, Brooke Vitale's The Mandalorian: Allies & Enemies – Level Two Reader and The Mandalorian: 8×8 Storybook, as well as The Mandalorian: Junior Novelization by Joe Schreiber.

According to Lucasfilm creative art manager Phil Szostak, The Art of The Mandalorian serves as a "definitive behind-the-scenes companion" to the series, featuring exclusive interviews with Jon Favreau, Dave FIloni, and many more.

Aside from the previously mentioned projects, there will also be comics inspired by The Mandalorian from Marvel and IDW Publishing, as well as magazine, novelty, and coloring and activity titles from Titan, Studio Fun, Crayola, Thunder Bay Press, Disney Publishing Worldwide, and Dreamtivity. There's also a Little Golden Book and a Screen Comic retelling of the show's first season dedicated to the younger fans.
