In the season finale of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Giancarlo Esposito's Moff Gideon survived amidst his TIE Fighter crashing and was even revealed to be in possession of a Darksaber. It's a shocking piece of information that no one probably didn't see coming. Fans will definitely see more of that weapon in season two and it looks like Esposito might be taking the saber for a swing way too much.

In a recent interview with Coming Soon, Esposito was asked about whether or not he's ready to wield the Darksaber. "I am. I really am," he said. "I want to say I've destroyed quite a few of them and the prop guys go, ‘Wow, you go all in.'"

Though he didn't give much information about wielding the Darksaber, he did tease what's to come in the second season. "This season is going to be really great," Esposito added. "This is the ultimate space western that's so connected to things we don't know and don't see." The actor then expressed his adoration for the series, pointing out that that he "really" loves the show and how he's "happy" to be even a part of it.

In a previous interview, Esposito shared his thoughts on wielding the unique weapon as well. He says he feels "wonderful" to have such an iconic saber in his hand. That said, the actor admits "it takes some getting used to," which probably explains why he broke some props on set.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 is set for release this October.
