Star Wars Legend Mark Hamill Joins the Russo Bros to Discuss The Empire Strikes Back

Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have been hosting a weekly web series titled Russo Bros Pizza Film School where the pair talks about classic films with their guests, of course, along with some pizza. Their show has featured various films in the past weeks, with the latest one being Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back to be discussed with none other than Mark Hamill himself.

Collider shared an official teaser for the upcoming episode of the Pizza Film School series, featuring the filmmakers, Hamill, as well as screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The Empire Strikes Back celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, with Hamill discussing the influences that helped shape the film, as well as the screenwriters' insights on how the Star Wars movie was a success and how it influences the making of Avengers: Infinity War.

Most fans consider Episode V as the best Star Wars film, with various filmmakers citing the movie as a major influence in their work and their love for cinema. The discussion between the franchise legend, the screenwriters, and the filmmakers will certainly be interesting, adding a different perspective to the movie.

The Russo Bros Pizza Film School's upcoming episode featuring Hamill airs this Friday at 12 P.M. PT / 3 P.M. ET on the directors' IGTV page.
