We're only roughly 3 months away till the premiere of the series Star Trek: Picard. And while the trailer released on the first week of October included a lot of new footages that had interesting and emotional scenes, this weekend, we get to see one of Picard's new looks.

In an exhibit at Destination Star Trek that took place this past weekend, fans were able to have an exclusive look at Jean-Luc Picard's new uniform. The uniform is mostly black while the shoulders were colored red, extending a little bit to the arms. There were also stripes of red and gold around the chest part, and around the wrist as well. The trousers were just plain black to balance out the multiple colors of the top.

The new uniform is actually considered an old one because the date for placed within the exhibit said it was in the year 2385. Which is about 14 years before the events in Star Trek: Picard. The uniform is said to be similar to those used in The Next Generation. You can check out the photo here.

However, according to io9, Patrick Stewart told the fans at a panel at the convention that he will be wearing civilian clothes for most of the scenes. And the uniform will only be worn in a couple of important parts in the season.

The Star Trek: Picard - Countdown #3 also made its debut which features a cover of Jean-Luc wearing the said uniform. The comic will be a part of the prequel comic series from IDW Publishing to be released in November.

Star Trek: Picard will air on CBS All Access on January 23, 2020, and on Amazon Prime on January 24, 2020.
