Although Uncle Ben wasn't specifically mentioned in the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man, it is already known that the character has always been a part of the hero's origin story. That being said, Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark has stood as a father figure to Tom Holland's Peter Parker in the MCU. But when it comes down to which character Holland would like to return, his answer is quite a surprise for some.

Speaking with IGN at the world premiere of the Pixar movie Onward, Holland was asked which of these characters (Uncle Ben, his parents, Gwen Stacy, or Tony Stark) he'd like to bring back. Although he did think about choosing Uncle Ben at first, he admits that he'd rather have Iron Man return. "It would have to be Tony Stark," he said. "It would have to be him because I love working with Robert so much." The actor says if he could even do another day with Downey, "it would be great fun."

The pair's relationship proved to be endearing, and while some fans might be upset with Holland choosing Iron Man over Uncle Ben, it is quite understandable since Tony Stark became his father figure, and he has already lost a lot of people in his life. Some fans might want to see Downey reprise his role as Iron Man and see the pair together on-screen once again as well, but it looks like Tony won't be making his return anytime soon.
