Spider-Man: Far From Home Could See Tom Holland Play Another Character In The Film

Spider-Man: Far From Home has to do a lot of heavy lifting. Set to follow up Avengers: Endgame, it will mark the end of Phase 3 of Marvel Cinematic Universe, but also somehow open the door new to a new era of characters and stories. One of which might include introducing another version of Spider-Man.

In a new teaser for the highly-anticipated film, Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio reveals that he is from another world. The science geek in Peter quickly comes out and forgets about the danger at hand.

Mysterio goes on to say that he is from Earth 833, which happens to be the home of William Braddock aka Spider-UK in the comics. Is there a chance that he will pop up in Spider-Man: Far From Home? While fans expect Marvel to eventually bring the Spider-Verse to the MCU, it might be too early for that.

The thing is there is no way of knowing at the moment if what Mysterio is saying is true. After all, he is supposed to be the villain in this film. For all we know, he is making everything up to get Peter to trust him.

Geek culture expert and YouTuber Charlie Schneider aka Emergency Awesome thinks that not everything about his story is untrue. While he is almost certainly lying about something, Schneider thinks that there is a good chance he is telling the truth about the existence of the multiverse.

The YouTuber goes on to say that should Spider-UK appear, Tom Holland could easily portray him. After all, the actor is British, so he gets to keep his accent for the role.

The closest we could get is probably a reference since a question about whether or not there is Spider-person in Mysterio's universe has to come up at some point. The fact that Spider-Man: Far From Home is set in Europe also makes it possible that we might meet our Earth's version of Braddock instead.
