Star Wars: The Mandalorian has been a huge success, especially with the help of Baby Yoda's ever-growing popularity. The first season definitely left the fans with a cliffhanger and can't wait to see more of Mando's adventures with the adorable creature, and as it turns out, fans of the first Star Wars live-action series would be able to do this very soon.

During Disney's recent earnings call, CEO Bob Iger revealed that the second season of The Mandalorian will arrive on the streaming service in October of this year!

Although there wasn't a specific date revealed for the show's release, it's still a delight to know that it'll be released sooner than expected. Some fans assumed that the show will be arriving much later in the year, but an October release date is definitely good news.

There are still a few more months left but the fans will have plenty of time to make their theories and speculations of what's to come in the second season. Moff Gideon's reveal at the first season's last episode is definitely something to ponder on. In addition, the Armorer gave Mando the advice of returning the Child to his home planet and reunite with his kind, and it seems like Din Djarin is considering doing so.

Since there wouldn't be any new Star Wars movies to come out until 2022, fans would definitely be looking forward to the live-action series, including the upcoming shows following Cassian Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi's stories.
