Zack Snyder's fans gained a big win after years of passionate calls on social media for the release of the Justice League Snyder Cut. The director made the announcement last month, revealing that his version will finally make its way to HBO Max in 2021. Now, HBO Max Exec Sandra Dewey confirms the release date.

During the Cannes virtual Marche (via ComicBook.com), Dewey confirmed Snyder's Justice League will be released on the streaming platform in "early 2021." She can't reveal further details about its progress or story yet, but Dewey pointed out that the company is excited to provide content, which essentially shows that they are listening to their fans.

Snyder's original vision was to break up the heroes' adventures into two films, but that was obviously abandoned ahead of production. For now, it's still unclear whether Zack Snyder's Justice League will be a film or a miniseries. That said, more details about the Snyder Cut could potentially come out in the upcoming DC FanDome event to take place on August 22.

While it's still well away, Snyder has been teasing the changes he'll make for Justice League over the years. Needless to say, fans can't wait for the Snyder Cut to come into fruition.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is set for release in early 2021.
